Resources Added to Drive Key Strategies

04-May-2017 Sienna has added two key resources to the business to enable planning and execution of key strategies.

In the USA, Michael Gunderson has started as Commercial Manager for that region and will focus on growing revenue through a range of sales, marketing, and technical support initiatives, working closely with Sienna’s distribution partner in the US, StatLab Medical Products. Michael comes to Sienna with extensive experience in clinical pathology laboratories including the Mayo Clinic, as well as sales and technical support experience with Leica Biosystems, a major pathology diagnostic supply company.

In Melbourne, Dr Owen Tatford, an experienced Research & Development Manager has joined the team, adding capability to the application expansion project for the telomerase product, as well as the technology pipeline growth program. Owen has a Bachelor of Science in Applied Biology, both a Masters and PhD in immunology, and has extensive experience managing Research & Development and Manufacturing Process Development teams.

1. Driving revenue in established markets for the telomerase product line in the bladder cancer application
2. Geographical expansion for the telomerase product line into new markets
3. Extension of the clinical applications for our telomerase product line into additional cancer types
